Name:Artemis Xiah
Age:About 18 in Human years.
Sex:Male
Race:Felinian (like Amelia)
Rank/Place on Ship:Misc. crew member
Hair:Black, shoulder length, and very wavy and shiny. Usually held back by his bandanna.
Eyes:Brilliantly gold, and slanting upwards at the outer corners.
Coloring:Black with a gold splash over his face, and a gold splash on his chest.
Height:6'5.5"
Weight:192 lbs.
Build/Posture:On the thin side, but very muscular. He has wonderful posture, always standing straight.
Distinguishing Marks:Five gold earrings in his left ear, a jagged scar (you can tell it's there because no hair grows on it) across his chest.
Wears: Black pants that are tucked into his knee high black leather boots, black leather belt, black fingerless gloves, a dark red bandanna around his forhead, sometimes a black sleeveless shirt if it gets colder than he likes.
He also wears a black leather bracer around his right forearm that he almost never removes.
History/Personality:He was born on a pirate's ship, the Allahandra, to two random crew members. The pirate ship was attacked--when he was about five years old--by another ship, and the crew of the Allahandra was killed and he was taken to a spaceport after he was found hiding in the crow's nest. He grew up at the port doing odd jobs, occasionally being taken on as a crew member on a ship. He befriended an old spacer by the name of Hekaziah, and from him learned bits and pieces of countless languages and skills, despite having no formal education. He is skilled in everything from weapons to engineering to cooking to doctoring, though for most of his skills he only knows some things; i.e. doctoring, he can clean and suture a wound but not much more than that, and in most of his languages he only knows a bit of conversationalism. In his time on the port, he was often abused by anyone he did work for, teaching him to obey orders well and be silent. He is good with many types of weapons, and can tie every knot known to man and some not known to man. The port was very cold in the winter and very hot in the summer, so he has a very high tolerance for hot and cold temperatures. He is always employed on ships as a general crewman, and tends to do grunt work due to his strength. He is a good man in battle, because of his endurance.
